Patrick Rentz realized he had the entrepreneurial spirit at a young age, and that passion has only grown with his continued green industry success. Originally named Lawnpro Inc., Rentz reincorporated his business in 2002 to Rentz Landscape Management LLC. Rentz’s business was “growing like crazy,” but he was interested in adding residential lawn care services. He began exploring lawn care franchises and even considered starting a separate company when he learned of SpringGreen.
After putting the time in as an employee, Kenny Gute’s dream of owning a SpringGreen franchise became a reality. When the previous owner retired, Kenny got his opportunity: In 2016, he became the owner of the Ames, Iowa, and Des Moines, Iowa, area SpringGreen franchise.
