The business traces its roots back to 2008, when Jim and Deb Hoelsworth became SpringGreen franchise owners and began building a strong reputation for exceptional lawn, pest, and tree care services throughout New Jersey. As the business grew, they intentionally prepared the next generation by mentoring nephews Tom and Mike O’Brien to eventually take the lead.

Today, Mike and Tom serve as the primary owners of the business, continuing the foundation established by Jim and Deb while leading the company into its next phase of growth. Their commitment to customer service, operational excellence, and thoughtful expansion has helped them build on the trusted reputation earned over nearly two decades in business.

One of the most significant milestones in that journey came with the acquisition of a fifth SpringGreen territory, expanding the business into neighboring Pennsylvania. The addition allows Mike, Todd and their team to serve even more homeowners and businesses while continuing the family legacy that has defined their success.
