SpringGreen Franchise FAQs

Investment & Financial

The total initial investment ranges from approximately $117,543 to $134,342, depending on territory size and equipment needs. This includes the franchise fee, marketing launch costs, equipment, and working capital. If you already own a green industry business, costs may be significantly less. Full details are outlined in the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD).

The initial franchise fee is $45,000 for a territory of up to 60,000 single-family dwelling units. Qualified Industry Associates may be eligible for a significantly reduced fee.

Royalty fees range from 8% to 10% of gross sales on a sliding scale. As revenue increases, the royalty percentage decreases.

Yes. Franchise owners contribute 2% of gross sales to the national Advertising Fund.

SpringGreen and vendors may finance a portion of the initial franchise fee, vehicles, equipment and certain startup costs for qualified candidates. Financing details are disclosed in the FDD.

It depends on where you are located. Lawn care services are seasonal in many markets. However, adding pest control and tree services helps diversify revenue and stabilize income throughout the year.

Franchise owners operate with application equipment, spray systems, and service vehicles. Many green industry owners share staff, facilities, and equipment with their existing business to reduce overhead.

The initial franchise fee is generally non-refundable, except under limited circumstances described in the FDD.

Business Model & Services

SpringGreen provides lawn fertilization, weed control, insect control, disease mitigation, aeration, overseeding, tree and shrub care, irrigation services, perimeter pest control, structural pest control, etc.

The answer is both. A business typically starts with a focus on residential customers but as that revenue stream grows, the ability to service larger commercial accounts becomes another opportunity.

Yes. Lawn, pest, and tree programs are structured as recurring seasonal applications, creating predictable, repeat revenue.

Total Home Pest expands service offerings into comprehensive pest control solutions, helping customers achieve peace of mind by eliminating pests & insects, and reducing their opportunity for re-entry to your home. This is a great value for franchise owners who are able to increase customer retention and cross-sell opportunities.

Because of the seasonality of our services, the Flex Start Program allows eligible franchise owners to launch later in the year and either minimize or delay certain operating costs during the startup phase.

The Industry Associate Program allows qualified green industry professionals to add SpringGreen services at a reduced franchise fee.

Ownership & Lifestyle

Industry experience is helpful but not required. Many successful owners bring leadership, management, and business skills from other industries.
