- Tom Hofer, Chairman
Tom led the evolution of SpringGreen Lawn Care brand for more than four decades. He provided the vision and financial responsibility needed to navigate the changing marketing place and survive not one but three recessions. Tom also provided the organization with its moral compass which is the basis of the current core values and mission of the company. Tom retired in June of 2010 and assumed the Chairman of the Board role for SpringGreen Enterprises, the parent company of SpringGreen Lawn Care Corp. He is enjoying traveling with his beloved wife, Sue, and spending time with their grandchildren.

- Ted Hofer, CEO
Ted grew up around the SpringGreen business and saw firsthand the sacrifices his father and mother made in the early years. After graduating from the University of Illinois with a degree in finance, Ted pursued his entrepreneurial roots by opening and eventually selling, another franchise. Like his father, he was able to apply his business ownership experience and the perspective of a franchise owner to his efforts in leading SpringGreen Lawn Care. Ted rejoined SpringGreen in 2005 and as part of a succession plan held various positions throughout the organization. Ted assumed CEO responsibilities in June of 2010. As the CEO of SpringGreen Enterprises—the parent company to SpringGreen Lawn Care Corp.—Ted’s responsibilities including setting and executing the vision for the company and leadership for all its wholly-owned subsidiary’s which include SpringGreen’s Lawn Care’s largest franchise servicing the greater Chicagoland area.

- Matt Jevne, Chief Technology & Marketing Officer
Matt Jevne serves as Chief Technology & Marketing Officer for Spring-Green Enterprises, leading the company’s technology and marketing functions in support of business growth, innovation, and franchise success. With more than 20 years of experience in technology leadership, software development, digital platforms, and data strategy, Matt brings a proven track record of aligning technology with business objectives and driving organizational growth. He joined SpringGreen in 2021 and was promoted to Chief Technology & Marketing Officer in 2026.

- David Martinez, Chief Finacial Officer
David Martinez serves as Chief Financial Officer for Spring-Green Enterprises, overseeing the company’s financial strategy, planning, and performance. He joined the organization in 2025 and brings more than 15 years of finance and accounting leadership experience.Throughout his career, David has held progressive leadership roles focused on financial planning, analysis, reporting, and business strategy, helping organizations drive growth and operational excellence.

- Brad Johnson, President Of Franchise Operations
Brad is an accomplished operation professional who has a track record of building and empowering teams. He worked ;with The Melting Pot Restaurant and earlier in his career, he had regional responsibility with Starbucks Coffee and was also involved in the early stage evolution of the St. Louis Bread Company. Under Johnson’s direction, his 10-member support team became recognized industry leaders and he attributes much of this to his proactive work with the organization’s National Advisory Council and his strong commitment to building lasting relationships with franchise owners. Brad understands how important or franchise owners are to us and how this family-owned business places its core values ahead of winning at all costs.

- Mark Potocki, Vice President of Franchise Development
Mark rejoined the SpringGreen team in October 2019, as Vice President of Franchise Development. His background provides real life practical experience and a deep understanding of what business owners are looking at when they decide to grow their business. Mark brings a skillset uniquely suited to help small business owners understand the benefit of owning a SpringGreen franchise. Mark is married with three children.

- Corey Knoeck, Vice President Contact Center
With more than 20 years of leadership experience in the pest control industry, Corey Knoeck brings extensive expertise in operations, customer retention, recurring revenue business models, and growth strategy. Prior to joining SpringGreen, he founded a consulting firm dedicated to helping pest control companies improve operational performance, profitability, and customer experience. As Vice President of Contact Center, Corey leads customer engagement and contact center operations, helping ensure exceptional service and support for franchise owners and customers across the SpringGreen system.

- Lena Brown, Director of Franchise Administration
Since joining Spring-Green Enterprises in 2013, Lena Brown has played an integral role in supporting franchise growth and operational excellence across the organization. As Director of Franchise Administration, she oversees franchise administration processes and supports new franchise onboarding, system compliance, and business operations. With more than a decade of franchise administration experience, Lena is known for her process-focused approach and commitment to driving efficiency, productivity, and informed decision making throughout the franchise system.

- Kyle King, Director of Operations
Kyle King brings more than 15 years of experience in the green industry, including lawn care operations, franchise consulting, sales, and business ownership. Since joining SpringGreen in 2021, he has worked closely with franchise owners to support operational excellence, business growth, and long-term success across the system. As Director of Franchise Operations, Kyle provides strategic guidance and operational support to franchise owners, drawing on his diverse background in turf management, business development, and field operations.
